Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address, a password (securely hashed — we never see it), and your chosen username. As you use the site we store the things you create and do: rankings, items, suggestions, comments, tier votes, up and down votes on rankings, follows, friend connections, your bio, and a profile photo if you upload one.
What's public
Your username, bio, profile photo, public rankings, comments, suggestions, and follower and following lists are visible to anyone. The fact that you voted on a ranking is public, but the specific tier you gave an item is not shown to other users. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Private rankings and friends
A ranking you mark as private is only visible to you and your accepted friends. It stays out of Explore, search, the leaderboard, and shared link previews. Friend requests are only visible to the two people involved. If you remove a friend, they lose access to your private rankings.
Where data lives
Account data and content are stored with Supabase, and the site is hosted on Vercel. Uploaded profile photos are held in Supabase storage. These are established infrastructure providers with their own security practices.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't share your information with third parties beyond the infrastructure needed to run the site.
Your choices
You can edit your username, bio, and profile photo, change your password, and delete your rankings at any time. You can also delete your account yourself from your profile page. When you do, you choose whether to keep your rankings on the site credited to Anonymous, or remove everything you created. Either way, your profile, photo, friend connections, and notifications are removed.
